MG-TEXS stainless steel backing with PTFE fibre fabric self-lubricating bearing uses high-quality stainless steel plate as backing, lined with a woven PTFE fibre fabric layer. It offers extremely low friction, high load capacity, excellent wear resistance, and outstanding chemical inertness. The bearing operates completely dry, making it maintenance-free and ideal for harsh environments including food processing, aerospace, and chemical applications.
◆ Features
Suitable for dry running with a very low coefficient of friction (0.03–0.08), low wear rate, and excellent sliding characteristics. The PTFE transfer film protects the mating metal surface.
Suitable for rotary, oscillating, and linear movements. High resistance to chemicals, moisture, and UV degradation. Performs well under high loads and extreme temperatures. Also performs well with lubrication if required.
◆ Material Structure:
1. Woven PTFE fibre fabric with proprietary impregnation (0.10–0.20mm)
2. Adhesive bonding layer (0.01–0.03mm)
3. Stainless steel backing (AISI 304 / 316) – thickness 0.5–3.0mm depending on application
4. Optional corrosion-resistant coating on outer diameter
